Women Writers Workshop in Anza Borrego with Katya Williamson, MFA

Hosted by Celebration of the Circle and Spirit Mountain
Three-day, two-night writers immersion in the magic and mind-altering beauty of Anza Borrego
Join us in a land of sweeping vistas on the lowest desert of the United States: Anza Borrego State Park, an ideal setting for explorer writers (beginning and advanced) seeking discovery in their unique writing voice.
The writing program will consist of the “Writing faster than you can think” process developed by facilitator Katya Williamson, created during her three-time writer-in-residency at Yellowstone National Park. Suzanne Grant, gifted healer, will assist us in connecting with the creative energy within each of us with the clear, unimpeded energy of the desert.
Hosted at the Stanlunds Inn and Suites in Borrego Springs. Continental breakfasts will be provided; all other meals will be no-host. Anza-Borrego Desert State Park in Southern California has long been considered a premier site for stargazing with its designation as an International Dark Sky Park.
Cost:
$650 - Workshop & lodging (shared room)
$775 - Workshop & lodging (single room)
$375 - Commuter rate - workshop only
Optional 3-hour Jeep tour for $50 additional fee
